With National Negroni Week taking place from 16-22nd September, there’s no better time to sit back and sip on one of Italy’s most punchy and refreshingly bitter cocktails, with Liverpool’s iconic waterfront being the perfect spot to do so.

Take a look at some of the best spots to enjoy a Negroni this week!

Maray

The team at Maray know a thing or two about cocktails, with their Maray Negroni packing a punch with Beefeater gin, apricot Campari, caraway and sweet vermouth. Tuck into some of the best Middle Eastern inspired food in town, including their famous falafel pitta which has just made a return to the menu, followed by the Maray Negroni as the perfect digestif.

The One O’Clock Gun

Negroni fans can pick up two cocktails for £15 at the dock’s cosy pub, The One O’Clock Gun, with their happy hour available Mon-Thurs from 5-7pm or all day on Sunday. With a selection of tasty pies on offer from The Great North Pie Company, and live music on the weekend, there’s everything needed for a memorable visit to the waterfront.

Gusto

It’s only right that Italian cuisine experts, Gusto, know how to make the perfect Negroni. Not only do they offer the classic cocktail with its traditional ingredients, but also a Blood Orange version with Malfy Gin Con Arancia and Martini Rubino, or an equally punchy but slightly sweeter Aperol & Honey Negroni.

Revolucion de Cuba

With a whopping 5 Negroni cocktails to choose from on their creative drinks menu, Revs de Cuba is a must visit on Negroni lover’s list throughout the week. Their specials menu offers a Negroni for everyone, with highlights including the Breakfast Negroni comprising Campari, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla gin, El Bandarra White vermouth, passionfruit and marmalade, to their Spicy Negroni which has Patron Silver tequila and Ancho Reyes Verde Chilli liqueur for an added kick.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool

For an expertly created cocktail with the setting to match, The Rum Bar at Titanic Hotel is the place to be. Enjoy the real taste of Italy in a glass with their classic Negroni, best enjoyed on their scenic outdoor colonnades on a sunny day.
