Liverpool will see another summer of free festivals and the dates are confirmed for the popular events celebrating some of the city’s historic streets. Managed and supported by Liverpool BID Company, the free events are designed to showcase the best of the city, from food, drink, culture and hospitality.
Coinciding with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic’s Open Day on 28th September, Hope Street Blend will bring together cultural partners along the famous Hope Street in a cascade of music and culture. The mini festival will see venues open their doors for pop up events, bringing music into unexpected spaces and celebrate a street that is synonymous with Liverpool;’s rich cultural heritage and identity.
Mark Da Vanzo is Chief Executive of Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres and is the incoming chair of Hope Street CIC and is on Liverpool BID’s Retail & Leisure Board,
“We are delighted to be introducing Hope Street Blend, an opportunity to enjoy one of Liverpool’s finest streets. With a Cathedral at either end, the vibrant hum of daily life, with music and art filling every doorway and space, it is one of my favourite places to be in the city. Celebrating our best assets is something I’m very proud to do, and I can’t wait to be able to welcome as many people as possible into our Hope Street venues”.
