Community events include:

• Litter pick at 12pm from St Pauls Square
• Planting session at 13:30 onwards – BID are looking for volunteers to support with planting some unloved areas in the commercial district, to get involved email [email protected]. The sessions will be based at Victoria Street and Tithebarn Street with a meeting place of Zenn, Victoria Street. BID will provide gloves, litter picking equipment, plants and planting equipment however please feel free to bring your own too.

Wellness events in partnership with YinYan Wellbeing CIC, from 8am-3pm at Tempest on Tithebarn Street:

• 8am Yoga (45 mins) – wear anything you can move freely in, for all other sessions just come as you are… (Levy Payers only)
• 10am Qi Gong / Tai Chi (20 mins) 
• 11am Loving Kindness, the ultimate stress-busting meditation (20 mins)
• 12-3pm Clay Modelling (drop in for as long as you like)
• 12.15pm & 1.45pm Ukulele Crash Course (30 mins)
• 1pm Citizenship Talk (30 mins) – inspired by Nelson Mandela’s message of making the positive changes we want to see in the world, how can we be good citizens in our local community? We’ll consider the scientifically proven benefits of community & volunteering; activities like Liverpool BID’s litter picks; networks & groups of like minded citizens raising money for & supporting good causes.
