Join Dockside Runners and take part in their ‘Running Bus’ around the Last Day of Summer event! The 5k route will take you around some of the main activities taking place on Saturday 31st August, with stops along the way to take in the animation of the event.
There will be three runs taking place throughout the day, first one starting at 12:30pm, second at 1:30pm and final run at 3pm. Simply turn up to the meeting point (Mann Island Atrium) on the day, for the run you would like to take part in.
Dockside Runners is a free and inclusive running collective based in the heart of Liverpool city centre. They have risen to become an established part of the Liverpool running community for over 10 years, and have a diverse group of runners from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. Runners take on an array of challenges from 5k parkruns to 100 mile ultras and everything in between.
Your Run Lead
Sarah has been a member of Dockside Runners since the start of 2017 and became one of the pacer team in 2021. She’s a UKA Licensed Coach in Running Fitness and also helps to run her local junior parkrun. Sarah is used to supporting people new to running and this will be a fun session, suitable for everyone.
