Beginning our journey with tales of the City’s Body Snatchers, the ghostly apparitions at Blackburne House before we take our journey down into the depths of Liverpool’s stunning great green lung, St James’ Cemetery; Behold the majesty of the Anglican Cathedral and explore the Cemetery Quarter of Sailor’s Town with singing and stories to enchant and delight all of the family.

Beginning at the main entrance to oldest institute in the city, Our Lady and St Nicholas’ Church, this bite-size tour will take you on an odyssey of heritage within the medieval boundary of this haunted Churchyard. Discover the site of the old borough Gaol and the ghastly ghostly goings on- uncover the macabre history of the Liver Building and the terrible tale of the black widows of Liverpool! Ending within Liverpool’s oldest morgue, so named by Herman Melville, ‘The Dead House’
