LEAF reveals its Christmas plans as The Home Of Festive Feasting
This Christmas at LEAF in Liverpool includes fabulous 3-course feasting, Breakfast With Santa, Pudding Clubs and Festive Afternoon Tea at OH ME OH MY
With summer now gone and a distinctly wintry chill in the air, the days feel shorter as the sun shines lower. Autumn’s already here and winter will soon be fast approaching, and with it the magic of the festive season arriving in Liverpool and beyond.
For LEAF and their three venues across Merseyside, Christmas is a time of creativity, indulgence and spending time with family, friends, colleagues and loved ones. The beautiful locations are perfect for cosy intimate evenings, snug catch ups and big social get togethers as The Home Of Festive Feasting. And LEAF now reveal their fabulous 3-course menu, Breakfast With Santa and festive Pudding Clubs taking place in December, through to the stunning OH ME OH MY hosting Festive Afternoon tea sessions.
Breakfast With Santa – Bold Street, West Kirby and OH ME OH MY
This will be wonderful. Following a delicious breakfast, Santa will be welcomed and will visit each table in turn to talk with little ones and provide some wonderful Christmas cheer. There will also be activities available throughout and, if everyone is lucky enough, perhaps even a visit from one or two Christmas Elves. Tickets include breakfast, festive activities, a one-on-one meeting with Santa, as well as a gift from Santa to take home. For adults, breakfast includes granola, a delicious pastry, and either an egg barm or egg and bacon barm. Children will receive lovely decorate-your-own pancakes. Dates are: Sat 3rd and 10th December Bold Street; Sun 11th, Sat 17th and Thurs 22nd December West Kirby; Sun 4th, Sun 18th and Fri 23rd OH ME OH MY.
All breakfasts start from 9.30am.
Festive Afternoon Tea – OH ME OH MY
OH ME OH MY is a truly iconic Liverpool location and a secret space in the city, with its beautifully lofted ceiling and high windows to exquisite detail in abundance. And up on the roof, Goodness Gracious has spectacular views across The Three Graces, the River Mersey and beyond. OH ME OH MY’s Festive Afternoon Tea will feature winter-warming treats and drinks to make any festive celebrations extra special. Festive Pudding Clubs – Bold Street, Smithdown and West Kirby
December’s Pudding Clubs will offer all of the usual lashings of sweet-toothed rapture with five delicious dishes carefully paired with complementary loose-leaf teas from LEAF’s extensive collection – it’s five courses of sensorial delectation. And being Christmas, expect some suitably festive invention too on each plate. Dates will be released soon.
LEAF’s Christmas Feasting – 3-course menu – Bold Street, Smithdown and West Kirby
LEAF’s 3-course menu is available at Bold Street, Smithdown Road and West Kirby and features classic dishes for everyone to enjoy, from cauliflower soup to baked chorizo & chicken terrine; Galantine of turkey filled with dried fruit & chestnut seasoning to a festive nut roast with a combination of root vegetables; and baked New York Biscoff cheesecake to Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. There’s an optional mince pie and freshly brewed coffee to finish too. The Christmas menu runs from Thursday 1st – Friday 23rd December and is available for groups of 6+ and must be booked/pre-ordered in advance. The menu is below and is £ £32.95 per person.

Roast hake with winter vegetables & braised barley champagne velouté
Galantine of turkey filled with dried fruit & chestnut seasoning, pigs in blankets and home-made jus
Braised feather blade of beef with winter bourguignon sauce
Festive nut roast with a combination of root vegetables, mushrooms, garlic, mixed nuts and dried cranberries, served with a thyme and rosemary jus
