Liverpool Business Improvement District is enhancing the way businesses, security partners and key stakeholders share information and tackle crime and anti-social behaviour across the city centre, with the transition to the new ShopSafe intelligence and risk management platform.

The move will provide Liverpool BID Levy Payers and partners with a more modern, connected and intelligent approach to incident reporting, offender identification and information sharing. ShopSafe brings together comprehensive offender profiles, incident intelligence, evidence and communications in one central platform, helping partners to identify patterns, build investigations and respond more effectively to issues affecting the city centre.

With features including fast and custom reporting, powerful search and filtering, linked profiles and incidents, evidence management, automated workflows and instant group messaging, the new system will support stronger collaboration between businesses, security teams, the police and other partners.

The transition is part of Liverpool BID’s ongoing commitment to creating a safer, more secure and welcoming city centre. By improving the way intelligence is captured, analysed and shared, ShopSafe will help businesses and partners work together to prevent crime, tackle persistent offending and make informed decisions based on real-time information.

The platform also offers opportunities to automate evidence collection and share intelligence securely with relevant partners, supporting a more coordinated approach to city centre safety and security.
