The 2026 Liverpool Half Marathon will start on Regent Road outside Hill Dickinson Stadium and finish on Canada Boulevard. Runners will head out of the city via Regent Road and Waterloo Road, turning left onto Paisley Street and right onto Great Howard Street. The route continues along The Strand before taking in the city centre around Chapel Street, Exchange Street East, Dale Street and Castle Street, joining onto Strand Street. Runners will follow Strand Street, Wapping, Chaloner Street and Upper Parliament Street, turning left onto Great George Street, then onto St James Street towards Cornwallis Street and Duke Street, before rejoining Great George Street and Upper Parliament Street. Once they’ve reached Sefton Park, the Half Marathon and 10 Mile routes split. They then follow Queens Drive, Aigburth Vale and Mossley Hill Drive, returning to Aigburth Drive where they rejoin the 10 Mile runners. All runners continue along Ullett Road and Belvidere Road, through Princes Park and up Princes Road, before following Upper Parliament Street and Chaloner Street. The route then turns left onto Queens Wharf, continues up Kings Parade and finishes on Canada Boulevard.
