Friday 24th February marks the one year anniversary of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine. Across the UK there will be a minute’s silence at 11:00am on that day. In the middle of the commercial district Liverpool Parish Church (on Chapel St, opposite the Liver Building) will be holding a lunchtime service at 12:15pm which will include an act of remembrance for all impacted by this war.

The Ukrainian flag will also be flown by the Parish Church and the Church will join other civic buildings by being floodlit in the colours of the Ukrainian flag (blue and yellow) in the evening.
