The North’s largest music industry careers event is back for 2026 – bringing incredible industry leaders, artists and music organisations to Liverpool to inspire, help and advise young people, students and those early in their career to build their future in music. We’d love your help to spread the word about this exciting event!

Taking place on Sunday 22 March, this year’s event has been reimagined to include:

  • Morning session designed for secondary school age and FE students and their families to explore the wide range of careers options and paths and how to take the first step towards a career in music.
  • Afternoon session for 18+ bringing invaluable information and experiences for those in higher education, training, or early on in their career.

We have two fantastic keynote speakers: Guy Chambers (songwriter to stars including Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Diana Ross and Mark Ronson) and Natasha Hamilton, who topped the charts with pop group Atomic Kitten and has since founded Morpho Records.

Sponsored by Liverpool’s global music publishing powerhouse Sentric, this year’s event features organisations from every corner of the music and live events industry such as Adlib, EMI North, Polydor Records, PPL, BBC, UK Music, Spotify, Universal Music, Small Green Shoots, PLASA and many more who will be on hand to share their vast experience and advice. There’ll be panel discussions, hands-on workshops with the latest tech and fascinating demonstrations.

At the Music Careers Marketplace, attendees will have opportunities to chat throughout the day to representatives from leading music organisations, employers, education and training providers.
