Community Suicide prevention Training – No More Suicide

We are delighted to announce that we have been commissioned by Liverpool City Council to deliver a suicide prevention project within the city of Liverpool. In September 2023 the Government released their new nation strategy for suicide prevention recommendations were made that workforces should have a suicide prevention training. Therefore we have commissioned Wirral mind to deliver a community level suicide prevention training – Called No More Suicide. This is a free course for those working within Liverpool city council footprint.

About the Course:

A full day training course the morning session is a self-directed e- learning module with an online group session in the afternoon.

Who it’s for?:

The package is suitable for anyone who works in a public facing role.

What you’ll learn?

The aim of the training is to:

Increase your understanding and knowledge of practical suicide prevention techniques.
Recognise risk
Develop skills to be able to have clear direct conversations.
Know what support is available in your community.

The Live Session hosted on Zoom which offers a combination of interactive discussion and activities designed to increase your confidence in relation to supporting someone who is feeling suicidal.
