Road Closures for Cunard Queen Anne Naming Ceremony
To enable the events to take place safely it will be necessary to implement the following road closures:
Event Build: Monday 27 May – Sunday 2 June
08:00 – 20:00: Closure of Canada Boulevard from Water Street to Isle of Mann Gates
Event Day: Monday 3 June
06.30 – 23:00: Princes Parade and St Nicholas Place (Crowne Plaza)
06:00 – 23:00: Water Street, Brunswick Street, Canada Boulevard, Georges Dockway and Mann Island
06:00 – 23:00: Traffic priority system on Georges Dockway
Event De-rig: Tuesday 5 June – Thursday 7 June
08:00 – 20:00: Closure of Canada Boulevard from Water Street to Isle of Mann Gates
The following arrangements have been put in place to assist:
Mann Island Development – Mann Island will be closed on Monday 3 June. Access will be maintained for residents via Brunswick St and George’s Dock Way.
Port of Liverpool Building – Mann Island will be closed on Monday 3 June. Access will be maintained for residents who park in the front car parking spaces via Brunswick St and George’s Dock Way.
Mersey Ferry Terminal/Matou – Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Crowne Plaza – Access will be maintained via St Nicholas Place (Crowne Plaza).
Liver Building – Access to car parks will be maintained for regular permit holders but access will be through the road closure, please have your building access pass available in your car.
Cunard Building – Access will be maintained for residents who park in the front car parking spaces via Brunswick St.
Parking in and around the Three Graces will be restricted due to road closures and people are advised to use public transport where possible.
