The Choir with No Name (CWNN) Liverpool, a choir involving people impacted by homelessness, will return to the stage of the Everyman for its annual ‘Big Gig’ on Friday 2nd June.

Building on the success of it’s first post-pandemic ‘Big Gig’ in 2022 the choir will return with special guest act, Nature Boy, and the PSS Wellbeing Choir.

A fun, classy and expressive Queer band hailing from the northwest, Nature Boy is set to treat their audience to and eloquent, soulful, intimate powerful vocal performance that will provide comfort and warmth.

The choir is fresh performing Icelandic Eurovision star, Daði Freyr’s song Think About Things to him and his wife as part of the city’s mammoth celebrations for the 2023 edition of the song contest and will bring the same joy and energy on their Everyman return.

As well as raising the roof with its uplifting performance, the ‘Big Gig’ will also raise funds to support the cost of keeping the choir running. Guests can expect an uplifting evening of rock and pop classics, great music, and plenty of sing-along fun for all the family.

CWNN Liverpool Choir Manager, Ema Quinn, said:

“Joining in our fabulous city’s Eurovision celebrations and performing for a song contest legend was an incredible experience and Daði’s reaction was priceless. But that was just the start to the fantastic summer we have ahead.

“Our relationship with the Everyman has gone from strength to strength and we are proud to call its team a friend to our choir. We’re looking forward to singing on its iconic stage once again, as well as performing alongside our amazing guest acts. We want to welcome as many people as possible to join our positivity-packed show.

“Our wonderful choir always shows just what is possible by being open, hopeful, inclusive, and collaborative and our audience is in for a treat. The profits made through ticket sales and donations on the night, will support the cost of keeping our weekly choir rehearsal running and our members singing well into the future, so do get booking your tickets and come along to sing your socks off!”

The ‘Big Gig’ takes place on Friday 2nd June at Liverpool Everyman Theatre, starting at 7:30pm.
