Liverpool’s legendary chef Paul Askew is presenting a unique evening at The Art School on Thursday 5th February.

The Chef Patron of Liverpool’s leading fine-dining destination is presenting Trotting Through The Vineyards, showcasing five wonderful wines alongside five courses of exceptional cuisine from his globally esteemed kitchen.

Whilst The Art School is renowned for its gastronomic experiences, wine is equally important – whether by the bottle or paired, and coloured from red, white, pink or imbued with fizz. Paul and his sommeliers proudly offer a range of global vintages from some of the most prestigious vineyards, long-standing relationships developed over the years, including last year’s Charter from Le Grand Conseil de Vins de Bordeaux.

Paul says: “We proudly serve fantastic vintages from around the world, including from our partners Henners and Charles Heidsieck. All vineyards we work with complement our work in the kitchen to the highest degree, from special occasion bottles and paired wines to a range of more accessible vintages. At Trotting Through The Vineyards, I’m going to be guiding our guests through five courses paired with five delectable wines, which are Henners English NV Rose;Cave de Turckheim, Riesling Reserve, Alsace, France; Nielson by Byron, Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County, USA 2019; Valenciso, Rioja Reserva, Rioja, Spain 2019; and Domaine Grange Neuve, Monbazillac, France 2019.”

Paul adds: “This evening is an opportunity to experience our world-class fine-dining matched with exquisite wines. At The Art School, we champion free range and organic produce and embody the field to fork philosophy, alongside working with some of the finest vineyards from around the world. It’s been a fantastic start to 2026, with brilliants guest chefs and events, and there’s plenty more to come.”
