Welcome to Liverpool!
Liverpool, where do we begin? A city like no other, where no two people are the same. Liverpool is filled to the brim with smiling faces, music lovers and football fanatics and its history bursts with a mix of culture and art. As things are getting back to normal in our amazing city, get ready to experience Liverpool’s unique attractions and visit the places you’ve always heard of, but have never thought you would have a chance to visit.
Not only does Liverpool’s reputation come from the bubbly Scousers, who are ranked as some of the friendliest in the world, it comes from the bustling city centre, the neighbouring areas and the wider city region. When moving to Liverpool, you may not have heard of the Liverpool coastline that is just a short train ride away or the many green spaces just a short bus ride away such as Sefton Park; one thing we know is that you will never be bored.
So, now that you know the basics of being a Scouser, a few things we want to clear up is:
- You shop at Home and Bargain, not Home Bargains
- Tea is no longer just a hot drink but rather a meal that comes at the end of the day
- Scouse isn’t just an accent but the best meal to have on a cold Winter night
- Locals will judge others based on the colour of their bins
- We promise, there’s more to Liverpool than Concert Square
But all jokes aside, one thing we know for sure is that you will have many great years ahead of you and number of adventures coming your way. So let’s introduce you to the city, where do you want to head to first? Select one of the icons below:
