What’s coming up in the BID for 2023
Liverpool BID – What’s on January 2023
→ BID Data Drop-in – Tuesday 10th January
BID Data drop-ins are a chance for BID Levy Payers to learn more about footfall, spending, upcoming events, and trends in the city centre.
They will take place every second Tuesday, the first starting from 10:00, Tuesday 10th January at Decathlon Church Street. We encourage Levy Payers to attend the drop-in to ask questions to our data insights team and find out reports from 2022, along with speaking to our marketing team to engage with city-wide marketing.
Spaces are limited however virtual attending is available.
→ Blue Monday Soundbath Experience
The BID is hosting a Soundbath evening for any businesses in the BID for a soothing Blue Monday.
Not sure what a Soundbath is? A Soundbath is a meditative experience where guests are invited to enjoy sound waves created by a range of sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself.
The Soundbath will take place on 3rd floor of No.8 Princes Dock.
Spaces are limited but we encourage businesses to send staff for a meditative and relaxing experience.
→ Netwalking in the New Year
Our bi-weekly netwalking tours are back for 2023 and will be making their return on Tuesday 17th January.
Every other Tuesday, the BID netwalking group takes place, led by expert Blue Badge tour guide Margo of Heart of Liverpool Tours. Going forward for 2023, we want you to let us know where you’d like to see, what you’d like to learn and who you’d like to meet!
You can book onto a Netwalk for free below, and be sure to follow us for updates on where we will be headed every other week.
→ BID Levy Payer First Aid Training – Tuesday 21st February, Monday 6th March
The BID are hosting a number of free first aid training sessions for BID Levy Payers in advance of the Eurovision song contest taking place in Liverpool.
The first aid training will take place on two dates and spaces are limited so please book on the below link and ensure you let the team know if you are unable to make it.
→ Pancake Day Race – Tuesday 21st February
Liverpool’s traditional Pancake Day race, pitting the city’s top chefs against each other to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, returns this year on Tuesday 21st February.
Held in the gardens of Liverpool Parish Church, the annual race sees chefs from top restaurants in the city make a pancake that will allow them to compete in laps around the gardens, while also flipping the pancake.
Join us from 10:45am, for an 11am start.
