All of the world’s major religions recognise that Faith should be based in action.
People affected by dementia need action and support from all sections of society, not least from their Faith communities, to help them live as well as possible.

Many Faith communities provide that support, often in small but significant ways.
As a result,  living with dementia need not be an isolating experience for people
who have drawn lifelong comfort and strength from shared spiritual experience.

Through inter-Faith dialogue it is possible to learn what can be done within each
community to help make life better for members affected by dementia.
Faiths and Dementia ’23 will explore ways for Faith leaders and groups to make a real difference for their community members living with dementia and family carers.

Speakers include representatives from all major Faiths as well as dementia experts.
Alzheimer’s Society will provide Dementia Friends information sessions and
House Of Memories will bring their acclaimed immersive mobile museum experience.
Vegetarian lunch provided. Tickets £15, free for people with dementia and family carers.
