Merseyside Police, Liverpool BID Company and Liverpool City Council are committed to reducing violence against women and girls. Through funding obtained from the City safe board we are pleased to offer female self-defence classes to women and girls who live, work or socialise within the City Centre. Liverpool City Centre has recently been awarded the Purple Flag for the 14th consecutive year for demonstrating a safe and well managed night time economy, and this project is just one of many initiatives taking place across the City Centre that aims to keep women and girls safe.

The course is split across 3 sessions each lasting 2 hours per week over 3 consecutive weeks.
