The John Moores Painting Prize returns between 16 September 2023 and 24 February 2024 at the Walker Art Gallery for its 62nd edition. Now over 60 years old, JMPP is the UK’s best known prize for contemporary painting and previous winners include David Hockney, Sir Peter Blake and Rose Wylie.

Students can visit for £2.50 when presenting a valid Student ID.
