Valentine’s Day at The Art School this year takes place on Wednesday 14th February and Chef Patron Paul Askew and his team have got two wonderful services on offer.

Valentine’s Day truly begins the gastronomic calendar for 2024 and The Art School once more immerses guests in the exquisite splendour and beautiful details of Sugnall Street. Paul continues to champion and represent the city region’s independent suppliers, dedicated to seasonality and sustainability through his world-class gastronomy, alongside a global wine list from some of the finest vineyards. The wonderfully romantic occasion is also part of The Art School’s 10th anniversary year which is officially reached in September 2024.

For Valentine’s Day, a lunch and early evening prix fixe service is followed by a Celebration Menu for the complete taster experience, with both available with an optional wine flight.

Paul Askew says:

“Valentine’s Day is one of my favourite occasions for The Art School and it’s a unique day for all of our cherished guests. It feels extra special in 2024, as I can’t help but feel the year is going to accelerate exponentially toward our tenth anniversary month in September. To reach this occasion is truly momentous for us and testament to everyone’s hard work who are part of The Art School’s story. So this Valentine’s Day in particular is one element of a very special year for us and for everyone who comes to dine with us in 2024. On top of this, we’ve got Mother’s Day in March and in April we return for our third year at The Grand National. Then Liverpool is going to be the guest city at the Bordeaux Wine Festival in early summer. And finally, Taste Liverpool. Drink Bordeaux is returning later this year too which is fantastic news.”
